he Adventures of Ninja Nanny & Sherrloch Sheltie is an educational, interactive novel for ages 12 and up. The story follows a cow named Norbertina who lives on a farm near San Francisco but aspires to travel to England and become a nanny. In her quest to save enough money to make the long journey, she gets a minimum-wage job at an ice cream parlor working for two pigs -- names Hog and Doss -- and is later pursued by a variety of villainous characters, including Baron von Moribund.

Occasionally while reading the story, there are a number of "hotword" selections that the player can click on and trigger a graphical scene depicting crude drawings of characters with odd voice clips and sound effects. Throughout the course of Norbertina's adventure, there are also tangential references to geographical and historical items of interest -- such as the Golden Gate Bridge -- which the player can learn more about by reading entries in the game's "DictioPedia NinjaNannica," a dictionary/encyclopedia hybrid that features a number of stock video clips and images.

A sequel was planned but never released.
