The Tapwave Zodiac was a handheld game console and PDA that was released in 2003. It ran on the Palm operating system and had a 320x480 pixel color touch screen display. It also featured stereo speakers, built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and a 200MHz ARM processor.

One of the unique features of the Zodiac was its dual expansion slots, which allowed users to add both Secure Digital (SD) and MultiMediaCard (MMC) cards for additional storage and functionality. Additionally, the Zodiac had a built-in digital camera and could play both MP3 and MPEG-4 video files.

Despite receiving positive reviews for its hardware and software capabilities, the Tapwave Zodiac ultimately failed to gain traction in the market and was discontinued in 2005.

The Tapwave Zodiac console garnered strong product reviews and received many industry awards including Popular Science's Best of What's New Award, Stuff magazine's Top 10 Gadgets of the Year, Wired magazine's Fetish Award, CNET's Editor's Choice Award, PC World's 2004 Next Gear Innovations Award; PC Magazine's 1st Place Last Gadget Standing at CES; Handheld Computing magazine's Most Innovative PDA of 2003; Time magazine Best Gear of 2003; and the Business Week Best Products of 2003.
